You can always withdraw more than the penalty-free amounts, but during the withdrawal charge period, amounts withdrawn in excess of penalty-free withdrawals incur a withdrawal charge (which can reduce contract value). American Pathway Fixed 5 and Fixed 7 are single premium tax-deferred fixed annuities. Interest begins earning once the contract is issued, with interest credited daily (per brochure). The initial interest rate is guaranteed for the selected term, and once that term ends, future interest rates are declared annually.

When the selected rate term expires, future interest rates will be declared annually.

If the optional return-of-premium guarantee is elected at purchase, upon surrender you will receive the greater of (1) your single premium paid less prior net withdrawals, or (2) the withdrawal value (contract value minus applicable withdrawal charges).

Corebridge American Pathway® Fixed 5 and American Pathway® Fixed 7

 are single-premium, tax-deferred fixed annuities issued by American General Life Insurance Company (AGL) (a Corebridge Financial company; formerly AIG).
