How this ranking is built
Source. Product and rate values come from CANNEX via AdvisorWorld, read through AnnuityRatesHQ’s cached, timeout-protected public data boundary.
Cadence and freshness. Live reads revalidate on a regular cache cadence. The displayed freshness label comes only from the upstream sync_log; this page never substitutes its own render time.
Formula. Eligible rows are sorted from highest to lowest on the named metric, then capped at ten. The ranking is always within one cohort: MYGA declared rates, annual S&P 500 FIA point-to-point caps, or FIA income metrics.
Integrity guards. MYGA “best rate” values must remain inside the displayable 2%–9% band. Product-family mismatches and implausible rates are quarantined by the data boundary rather than silently rendered.
