Average of the top MYGA rates, by term
These current top-rate averages come from the same live CANNEX data shown on the Annuity Rate Index. Their sample counts are declared-rate observations, not unique products, and one product can contribute multiple observations. They are not the whole-market averages above. The chart below records one observation per day, so its latest same-day point may precede the current figures.
The average of the top 10 2-year MYGA declared-rate observations was 5.27% on July 15, 2026, based on 10 observations recorded in the CANNEX-backed Annuity Rate Index.

How broad is the feed, and how fast is it moving?
AnnuityRatesHQ tracks 64 annuity carriers as of July 15, 2026, across 175 unique MYGA and FIA products in the CANNEX-backed feed. The family coverage includes 159 MYGA product IDs from 63 carriers and 16 FIA product IDs from 8 carriers.
MYGA rates over time, by guarantee term
Each line is the stored once-daily average of the top CANNEX-backed declared-rate observations for one MYGA term. This is the same recorded history used by the Annuity Rate Index, not a second trend calculation. One product can contribute more than one rate observation. A current sync can move after the latest daily point is stored.

Comparable data, honest omissions
MYGA averages use the same term-market calculation as our rate pages after duplicate visible rows are removed. We exclude non-marketed minimum-guarantee rates, and eligible displayed rates must fall within the 2%-9% comparison range.
FIA caps, participation rates, and performance triggers are checked in separate, like-for-like S&P 500 one-year groups. The participation statistic excludes strategies with fees or mixed crediting methods. Caps, participation rates, triggers, fixed rates, and RILA structures are never blended. A strategy without a cap is labeled “Uncapped,” not zero.
Every live “as of” date reflects the latest CANNEX observation. If current data is unavailable, we omit the statistic instead of displaying zero or a placeholder value.
Whole-market MYGA distributions include each eligible marketed rate after duplicate displayed rows are removed. Because one product can have multiple premium bands or contract versions, each citation reports both the number of rate entries and the number of unique products represented.
The history chart uses the same figures as the Annuity Rate Index. Monthly records are preserved permanently, and archive pages do not refresh. Historical additions include only data that was actually recorded.
