Crediting menu includes a recognizable S&P 500 annual point-to-point cap with no strategy fee, so the buyer gets at least one clean like-for-like comparison line against other FIAs on this site rather than only proprietary participation-rate strategies.
Index menu is unusually wide for a five-year contract — Barclays Global Trailblazer, US Multi-Asset Risk Managed 5, US Daily Risk Managed 12, US Balanced Asset 10, US Strategic Balanced Asset 8, and US Multi-Asset Diversified 5 all appear as five-year participation-rate strategies, plus a one-year S&P 500 trigger-rate option and a daily-rate fixed account.

Most of the participation-rate strategies on this menu run on a five-year crediting term rather than the more common one-year cadence. A buyer who exits or reallocates before a crediting term completes can forfeit interest that would otherwise have credited at the end of the term — confirm crediting-term mechanics with the carrier before committing.
All of the non-S&P participation-rate indexes are proprietary volatility-controlled indexes. Their participation rates can look high in absolute terms but are not directly comparable to an S&P 500 cap, and several have shorter live-track histories than the S&P 500 itself — evaluate each on its own merits rather than headline number alone.
