S&P 500 annual point-to-point cap rate

7.75% cap on S&P 500

A six-year-surrender fixed indexed annuity from Revol One Financial built for index-linked accumulation on the S&P 500 — cap, participation, and EPAR designs — with no income rider and a narrow nine-state footprint.

Best fit

Buyers in one of the nine available states who want index-linked accumulation on the S&P 500 without committing to a full ten-year surrender ladder, value the ability to mix cap, participation, and EPAR crediting on the same index, and don't need a guaranteed lifetime-income rider built into the contract.

Product analyst notes

How to think about this contract

Why it can stand out

  • Six-year surrender ladder is at the short end of the FIA market — well under the lock-up of the carrier's flagship ten-year contracts — so a buyer who wants index-linked growth without a decade-long commitment can use this contract.
  • Three crediting designs are offered on the S&P 500 alone — annual point-to-point cap, participation rate, and the carrier's EPAR participation reset — so a buyer can pick the mechanic that fits their view of the index rather than being locked into one style.
  • A separately published guaranteed six-year cap rate on the S&P 500 annual point-to-point strategy lets a buyer match the cap commitment to the full surrender term — useful in a market where headline caps can reset each contract year.
  • Free-withdrawal allowance and the full six-year surrender schedule are visible on this page, so the schedule of penalty-free liquidity is not gated behind a sales brochure.

What to confirm

  • This contract is not a guaranteed-lifetime-withdrawal product. There is no GLWB income rider attached — the live feed shows an empty income-rider list — and the only contract-level enhancements are surrender-charge waivers (nursing home, terminal illness, RMD). Do not compare its payout side-by-side with a rider-led income FIA.
  • Carrier financial strength is rated B++ by A.M. Best ('Good'), which sits one notch below the A-/A range that underpins most large-carrier FIA shelves. This is the only rating disclosed on the feed — there is no independent S&P or Moody's view to triangulate against. Buyers prioritizing top-tier carrier strength should weigh that explicitly.
  • State availability is very narrow — this is a nine-state filing (CA, HI, MA, MT, NC, NM, RI, VT, WV). Buyers outside those nine states cannot purchase this contract on this contract and should compare the carrier's broader BonusRev / AccumRev / Enduris 10 Income filings, which cover most of the rest of the country.
  • The carrier publishes a guaranteed minimum cap floor and a guaranteed minimum fixed-account rate (both visible on the page). Caps and fixed rates can reset down toward those floors at renewal, and the buyer carries that renewal risk for the full six-year surrender term — only the separately published six-year guaranteed cap rate is locked across the term.

Not ideal for

Buyers who need a contractually guaranteed GLWB-rider withdrawal rate, want a premium bonus to offset the surrender commitment, prioritize a top-tier carrier rating (A- or higher), or live outside the nine-state filing footprint — none of those are what this contract is built to deliver.

Accumulation profile

Accumulation-focused contract

The CANNEX information identifies this product as tax-deferred accumulation. Compare cap, participation rate, fees, liquidity, and surrender terms; use a separate payout-focused contract when guaranteed payout mechanics are required.

Common questions about Enduris 6

Can I lose money in Enduris 6?

A negative index return by itself does not reduce the contract's account value: Enduris 6 credits 0% — the floor — for that indexed period. The account value can still decrease from applicable rider fees, Performance Rate Rider or other strategy charges, administrative charges, withdrawals, surrender charges, or other contract-specific deductions. In years with no credited interest, those deductions can reduce the account value. Up to 10% of your value can be withdrawn each year without a charge; withdrawals above the penalty-free amount during the surrender period can incur a surrender charge.

How do Enduris 6's crediting strategies compare?

Use "Compare against" in the analyzer to overlay another available Enduris 6 strategy on the same premium, age, years, and hypothetical index path. The control labels the strategy type, rate, index, and context so caps, participation rates, triggers, spreads, and fixed-account choices are not treated as interchangeable.

Crediting design

How the interest-crediting choices are framed

Enduris 6 currently shows 12 indexed or fixed crediting options, including S&P 500 Index, with 2 volatility-controlled index options grouped separately. These choices matter because caps, participation rates, fixed accounts, spreads, renewal terms, and fee-bearing rider variants are different mechanics and should not be ranked as one simple rate list.

  • S&P 500 Index: 7.75% annual cap
  • S&P 500 Index: 40% annual participation rate
  • S&P 500 Index: 10% annual participation rate, Base Rate — 0-10% allocation
  • S&P 500 Index: 100% annual participation rate, EPAR — 10-999.9999% allocation

Liquidity terms

Why access rules deserve as much attention as rates

A fixed indexed annuity can preserve more control than an income-only contract, but access is still governed by the surrender schedule, free-withdrawal terms, and waiver language. Those details are where many product comparisons become more meaningful than a simple rate list.

  • 10%/yr free withdrawal
  • Nursing home waiver
  • RMD waiver
  • Terminal illness waiver

Verification note

Use carrier materials as term evidence, then confirm the current version

Carrier materials such as Enduris-6-Consumer-Brochure.pdf help explain the contract language behind the data on this page; the latest document activity we see is Apr 24, 2026. For the current brochure, rate sheet, or specimen contract, confirm the state-specific version with the carrier or a licensed financial professional.

  • Rates and rider terms can vary by state and issue age
  • Carrier guarantees depend on claims-paying ability
  • Current contract forms should be confirmed before purchase
