About this product
The Western United Discovery Plus is a single-premium Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuity (MYGA) that provides fixed, guaranteed interest rates for 3, 5, or 7 years. It offers principal protection, predictable tax-deferred growth, and penalty-free access to earned interest or required minimum distributions (RMDs). Unlike the Discovery contract, the Discovery Plus does not provide a 15% free-withdrawal provision, but it does maintain the same protection from Market Value Adjustments (MVA). The contract does not renew automatically, ensuring full access to funds at maturity.
