During the guarantee period, a surrender charge is assessed on any amount withdrawn, whether as a partial or full surrender, that exceeds the penalty-free amount. A surrender during the guarantee period could result in a loss of premium. Surrender charges may vary by state. After the initial term, the policyholder has a 30-day window to act before a new surrender schedule takes effect.

Your beneficiaries will get the accumulation value of your annuity as a death benefit – either in an immediate lump sum or in installments.

Issued as a single-premium contract with no explicit policy fees, the Max Elite Guarantee annuity provides guaranteed interest for the term selected. At the end of the guarantee period, owners may continue the contract, annuitize, or surrender. Withdrawals are allowed within specified limits without penalties, and optional benefits like the nursing home waiver and spousal continuance are included without cost. The annuity ensures premium protection through surrender value floors and market-adjusted access to funds.

At the end of the initial guarantee period, the policy will continue with an annually renewable interest rate and no surrender charge or MVA until the policy is either annuitized or surrendered.
